A Whale of a Year!
Thanks for coming along for the ride! Building 180 celebrated many milestones in 2018; below are some highlights. We look forward to creating with you in 2019!
We closed out 2018 with our monumental #BigBlueWhale installation, informally called Ethyl, on Crissy Field in San Francisco, CA. 5 months in the making, Building 180 with artists Joel Dean Stockdill and Yustina
Salkinova--commissioned by the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Hub Strategy and Communications with support from The National Parks Service and Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy--turned a warehouse into a recycling
center and set out to turn over 5,000 lbs of plastic into art! Every nine minutes the weight of a blue whale (that's 300,000 lbs!) is dumped into our oceans. Learn more about the project in the award-winning
documentary below.

Sculptures on the Strip!
We brought two amazing sculptures to the Las Vegas Strip at Fashion Mall Plaza.
- Heartfullness II (below) by Katy Boynton, which was dedicated to the 2017 Las Vegas shooting victims. The heart
is a testament to the city's resilience and ability to heal after tragedy.
- InSpire (below) by HYBYCOZO. Artists Serge Beaulieu and Yelena Filipchuk create artworks that investigate
geometry through light, shadow, and perception.

- Alpine Investors, San Francisco: Building 180 brought this space to life by adding our unique touch.
- Atlassian, San Francisco: The office's 3-story staircase was the canvas for artists Strider Patton and Knits For
