Paint The Void Exhibit & Volunteer Opportunities

Happy New Year!

Thank you for making this past year a special one for Paint the Void! Together we have accomplished so much! In 2021 Paint the Void, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (YBCA) and the San Francisco Office of Economic and Workforce Development launched the “SF Creative Corps”, a pilot program that engaged visual and performance artists in the effort to educate the public around COVID safe practices. We ran a case study that resulted in incredible data that support the demand and need for more public art, woohoo, stay tuned to hear about our findings...

This 2022, we are looking forward to many exciting events and opportunities. Keep scrolling to find out what is in store!!

Paint the Town Community Murals

We are super excited to announce that new community murals are coming up this year. Paint the Void has partnered with Shine on SF and TogetherSF to create 12 new murals in 2022 with local community involvement. The goal of this new partnership and grant is to inspire, motivate and empower people to connect and engage in caring for San Francisco’s streets and public spaces. There will be many opportunities for Bay Area residents to pick up the brush and become an active part of the murals in their community. Together we will tell stories about our neighborhoods and the people that make them unique. We will send powerful messages of resilience and unity and empower each other through art!
