Charon's European Summer Tour
“We’re doing what we love most: placing large-scale art around the world, and more importantly, we’re touring with the artist that inspired it all. It’s a dream to be producing Peter Hudson’s
artwork for the public masses to see!”
- Shannon Riley, Founder & CEO
Born out of the Building 180 warehouse on Treasure Island in San Francisco, Peter Hudson's creations were the original source of inspiration for Shannon Riley and Meredith Winner who founded Building 180,
the art production company, with the mission to bring big art to the public.
It is with great joy to announce that our team was invited by Les Machines to tour Peter Hudson's Charon, a gigantic
stroboscopic zoetrope, over a 2-year period across Europe. Starting this summer 2022, the 32-foot-tall kinetic sculpture will be gracing five European cities in five free and open to the public art events! Tour dates can be found
here.
